Terms of use
The visit requires no account, purchase or booking. It presents eleven illustrated landscapes and discovery texts. Visitors can choose manual scrolling, the guided tour, panoramas without 3D, language and sound settings.
Terrain, distances, viewpoints, roads and buildings are artistic interpretations. This experience is not a navigation map or a safety guide. Access information and suggestions are indicative: check current conditions with local operators before travelling, especially for sacred or protected sites.
Links to the Diego-Suarez Tourist Office, Riders 640 and 715 Fishing lead to independent third-party websites. DS Tour does not take bookings or present itself as their representative. Those publishers are responsible for their own content, services and privacy policies.
Availability and animation quality depend on your device and browser. Texts and resources may change. Third-party licences continue to apply; attribution is not a general permission to reuse the resources.
To report an error, content issue or infringement, contact contact@faly.net, specifying the page and the reason for your request.
Privacy and analytics
Visit preferences
Your browser may store language, graphics quality, sound status and volume levels locally. These settings support the visit and are not sent to Umami. They remain until you change them or clear this site's browser data.
Optional Umami analytics
Analytics are enabled by default on the public domain, without a banner. You can disable them at any time below or in the places menu without restricting access. Your preference is stored locally for six months. A previously saved refusal remains respected during that period.
When analytics are enabled, Umami may measure pages viewed, traffic sources limited to their domain, visit dates, general browser and device characteristics, display of the final panel and clicks on its three destination links. Query strings and URL fragments are excluded. This integration does not send names, email addresses, account identifiers, session recordings or typed content.
The server necessarily receives technical connection information, including the IP address. The publisher states that IP addresses are not stored in clear text in the statistics. Umami may process connection information to produce technical identifiers and session statistics; the absence of cookies does not guarantee complete anonymisation of all processing.
Data controller: the DS Tour publisher, reachable at contact@faly.net. Statistics are processed on analytics.faly.net, hosted by Hetzner, Germany. The maximum retention period adopted for DS Tour statistics is 13 months. They are used to understand visits and use of this tour's links.
Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected where available. Tracking is disabled on Vercel preview domains and localhost.
Optional YouTube player
Music starts from your first interaction with the tour, subject to browser autoplay restrictions. The YouTube player is accessible in the Places menu; playback continues when that menu is closed. No request to YouTube is made before that interaction. Use Sound to mute or resume playback; a muted preference is saved and respected on later visits. The player uses youtube-nocookie.com; playback still sends data to YouTube/Google and may involve processing outside the EU. The player’s stop button stops playback and future exchanges, and disables its automatic start until you turn sound on again. Your Umami choice remains independent. The player is subject to YouTube’s terms. See Google’s privacy policy.
Hosting and contact
Vercel processes technical information required to deliver and secure the site, including connection information. Its network may process data outside the European Union; see its privacy notice and data processing agreement. Sending an email shares your email address and message with the publisher to answer your request. Correspondence is retained as needed to handle the request, subject to legal obligations.
You may request access, correction or erasure of data relating to you and object to audience measurement by writing to contact@faly.net. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, including the French CNIL. Disabling analytics stops future transmissions; it does not automatically erase statistics already processed.
